Barbara Ann (Bryant) Harless, 68, of Anderson died September 23, 2013 at Community Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born September 16, 1945 in Anderson to Herschel J. and Mary Louise (Davis) Bryant.
She was a case worker and investigator for the Anderson Township Trustee 20 years before retiring in 2005.
She was a member of the Chesterfield American Legion.
She loved to cook and go to the casino. She loved shopping, traveling; spending time with family; going to the movies, and watching her husband bowl.
Survivors include her husband, George David Harless of Anderson whom she married June 16, 1962 in Anderson; her daughter, Diane Hinton (Don Clark); son, George David (Carol) Harless, Jr.
daughter, Donna Jean (Chase) Hacker; six grandchildren, Donavan Harless; Cody Buck; Denna (Jason) Robinson; Danna (Cory) Shew; Avery Hacker; Colin Hacker; four great grandsons; brothers and sisters-in-law: Jack (Teresa) Harless; Joe (Arnetta) Harless; half sisters, Ann Jackson and Georganna Stewart; cousin, Dick Davis; special friends: Pat & Jerry Wood; Betty & Joe Murdock; Lana Hendricks; Tracy Nelson; Joetta & Paul Long; John & Jan Goldsberry;; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Thomas Dale Bryant.
Service will be 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 25, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 5 to 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions given to the charity of the donor's choice.
