Charlton City
Daniel P. Williams, 69, of City Depot Rd., passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 in his home. He leaves 2 daughters: Laura L. Gamache and her husband Rick of Charlton and Naomi C. Kunkel and her husband Jay of Webster. He also leaves brothers and sisters: Derrick, Darlene, Deena, and Dell Williams all of Charlton and Dwight Williams of Kissimmee, FLA., 4 grandsons; Daniel and Tyler Burlingame and Patrick and Justin Kunkel as well as many nieces and nephews with whom he was very close.
Daniel was predeceased by his wife, Gladys J. (Little) Williams who died in 2004 and 4 brothers; Donald, Douglas, Duane and David.
He was born in Charlton, son of Donald and Frances (Neely) Williams. Daniel also served from 1961 to 1964 in the U. S. Army. He was an over the road trailer truck driver for many years. He loved being with his family and grandsons and enjoyed fishing and trips to Maine, and was also known in later years for driving around town on his John Deere tractor.
Calling Hours for Daniel will be Friday, September 27, 2013 from 5PM to 8 PM at the ROBERT J. MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd., there will be a Service at 7:30 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Northside Cemetery.
