Kenneth Dale Richardson, 74, of Anderson went to be with the Lord suddenly on Sunday, September 22, 2013.
He was born September 11, 1939 in Anderson to Guy R. and Alice (Walters) Richardson.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
He loved to stay at home doing things in the back yard. He loved to play with his granddaughters, Elisa, Destiney and Abby Rodgers and his three grandsons.
He was a truck driver most of his life before retiring in 2010.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Sandra Richardson of Anderson whom he married May 26, 1965; son, Vernon Eugene (wife Misty) Rodgers; daughter, Donna Elizabeth Estrouch; six, grandchildren, Adam D. Estrouch, Julian Estrouch, Blake Estrouch; Abby Rodgers, Elisa Rodgers, Destiney Rodgers; three brothers, Joe Richardson; Eddie (wife Shirley) Richardson and Bobby Richardson; sister, Julia Ann Hughes; aunt, Mary Yost of Anderson and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Thomas, two daughters, Tonye Sue Rodgers and Lisa Kay Rodgers.
Cremation will take place.
Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service handled the arrangements.
