Melvin J. Rapoza, age 67 of Fall River, passed away Sep. 22, 2013 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late John J. and Irene C. (Costa) Rapoza. Upon graduating from Swain School of Design and prior to retiring, Mel worked as a Freelance Artist in the Graphic Design Industry for many years. He was an avid movie fan, clock collector, and enjoyed photography.
He is survived by his brother John M. Rapoza, wife Janet of Somerset, nieces: Jennifer Boland, husband Scott of Swansea and Kimberly Ann Raposa, husband Peter of Tiverton, nephew: Joshua C. Rapoza, wife Carmen of Swansea; great niece & nephews: Grace, Samuel, Aiden, and Mason.
Following cremation, family and friends are invited to attend Mel’s memorial service on Saturday, Oct. 5th at 9:00 A.M. in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
