Sara Charlotte McNeill a 10th grader at Stoughton High School, passed away unexpectedly Sunday September 12, 2004 from a Brain Aneurysm at the North Adams Regional Hospital in North Adams, Massachusetts. She was 15 years old.
Born July 27, 1989 in Boston MA, she was the cherished daughter of Mr. Alfred “Freddy” and Mrs. Beth (Bagley) McNeill of Stoughton.
She attended Stoughton Public Schools and St. John’s Elementary School in Canton.
She participated in many social activities while in school including student council, art classes and art fairs. She also attended the MA College of Art Summer Program.
She was an active member of the religious education group at St. James Catholic Church in Stoughton.
She loved painting, various forms of artistry, reading and had a special place in her heart for her feline friends.
Her many artistic creations will serve as a constant memory of her zest for life and all those she has touched. She brought beauty and warmth to everyone she met. She will always be remembered as a caring, sensitive daughter, a sister and a friend.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her two sisters: Kate A. and Maggie C. McNeill, both of Stoughton. She was also the grand-daughter of Mrs. Hazel McNeill of Stoughton, Jean Brennan of Nahant, Gerry Bagley of Boston and the late Thomas McNeill. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday September 16, 2004 at 9:00 A.M. from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. James Church 542 Page Street Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Stoughton. Visiting hours Wednesday September 15, 2004 from 2-5 and 7-9 PM. Donations in her memory can be made to the Sara C.
