Donna Jean (Imbornone) Franey, a lifelong resident of Medford and beloved daughter of Jean C. (Young) Imbornone died at the Courtyard Nursing Center in Medford on Saturday evening, September 21, 2013. She was 55 years old.
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on April 15, 1958, she was the beloved daughter of Jean C. (Young) of Medford and Domenic Imbornone. Donna was a scrpbook enthusiast and always enjoyed doing crafts. She was an active and loving mother.
Besides her mother, Jean, Donna will be very sorely missed by her loving children; Michael J., Jr. and his wife Sarah Franey of Shrewsbury and Valerie J. Franey and her fiance Brendan R. Connor, both of Medford, cherished brothers; Thomas Imbornone of Medford and James Imbornone of Methuen.
Her funeral was from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends are respectfully attended. Visiting hours were held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
