LIGHTBODY - Neva Lightbody, 60, passed away Friday morning, September 20, 2013 after a courageous battle with an extended illness.
She was born April 4, 1953 in New Orleans, LA and was, otherwise, a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, FL.
She was predeceased by her parents, Roscoe Delmer and Augusta Nell Koon.
Neva is survived by the love of her life, Albert Lightbody. They were married and did everything together for 31 years. Also surviving are her daughter, Melissa Hoyt; a grandson, Casey Hoyt; and a sister, Caroline.
Neva was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was truly a one-of-a-kind wonderful person. She enjoyed gardening, working in the yard and riding around on her golf cart. She loved going places and doing things with her love, Al. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
