Obituary

McNealy, Paul Francis of Needham, September 19, 2013. Paul was born April 18, 1941 and was the son of the late John Edward McNealy and Mary (White) McNealy. He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Dondale) McNealy, and five children, Pamela Travers of Hollis, NH, Penny Howard of Walpole, Paul-Jon (P.J.) McNealy of Natick, Piper McNealy of Newton, and Paige (Mandy) Burns-Byers of Marshfield, as well as 10 grandchildren, Paul, Erin, David, Cole, Dylan, Sarah, Jack, Emma, Jennifer, and Madeleine, as well as nieces and a nephew. Paul is also survived by two siblings, Jack McNealy of Rindge, NH, and Joan McNealy of West Roxbury. He was predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Anne (McNealy) Lyons.

Paul was a benefits plan consultant and spent most of his career with EG&G before transitioning to Boston Benefit Partners. Upon graduation from Boston College in 1962, he served in the U.S. Army as a Captain during the Vietnam Era. He was a former usher and active parishioner at St. Josephs Church, in Needham, member of Needham Golf Club, former co-chairman of the American Ireland Golf Tournament, and a long-time Boston Red Sox and Boston College football ticket holder.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 1305 Highland Ave. (Exit 19B of 128) NEEDHAM Thursday at 10:30am. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham at 11:30am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8pm. Interment Needham Cemetery.
