LEICESTER: Elaine J. (Maranda) Viscetto, 70, of Broad St. in the Cherry Valley section of Leicester died Thursday, Sept. 19 in St. Vincent Hospital.
She leaves her husband of 52 years, Herbert A. Viscetto, a son Christopher J. Viscetto of Worcester, a daughter Cindy J. Harrison and her husband John of Leicester, four grandchildren Nicole, Angela, David & Michael, five great-grandchildren Aaliyah, Allannah, Lilly, Grace & Payton and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two sons David A. & Herbert A. Viscetto.
Mrs. Viscetto was born in Worcester, daughter of Peter and Helen S. (Lemanski) Maranda. She was a home health aide for many years and prior to that was a seamstress at Nancy Howards Inc. in Worcester. She enjoyed playing Bingo, computer games, camping and cooking. She loved spending time in her garden. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, Sept. 24 from MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 759 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Monday, Sept. 23 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
