Dorothy Faye Harrison Teel, 82, of Tifton died Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Victory Baptist Church in Tifton. Rev. Dan Eidson will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date.
Mrs. Teel was born on February 15, 1931 in Center Hill, Florida and was the daughter of William Calvin Harrison and Ruby Anglin Harrison, both deceased. She was a retired certified nursing assistant and a member of Victory Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Teel is survived by two sons, Louis Ivan Teel, Jr. of Tifton and Calvin Wade Teel of Ocoee, Florida; one daughter, Debra Faye Creighton of Tucson, Arizona; two brothers, Leonard Harrison of Lake Panasofkee, Florida and Freddie Harrison of Macon; two sisters, Jean Martin of Tifton and Freda McClean of Rockingham, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
