John P. LaPorte of Natick died on Friday, September 20, 2013. He was only 56 years old.
Born on October 11, 1956 in Boston, he was the middle son of Vincent & Jeanne (Lacey) LaPorte. John was raised in Natick and a 1974 graduate of Natick High School.
He worked in the warehouse for the Automobile Supply Company of Watertown for seventeen years and enjoyed reading, music, playing the drums and was an avid sports fan.
Mr. LaPorte was the husband of Kathleen M. (Ochs) LaPorte with whom they shared twenty-nine years of marriage. He was the loving father of Kevin J. & Kelly G. LaPorte, both of Natick. Brother of Stephen LaPorte & his wife Faith of Nevada, Vincent LaPorte, Jr. & his wife Lisa of Franklin, Michael LaPorte & his wife MaryAnn of New Jersey, & James “Butch” LaPorte of Spain. Brother-in-law of Michael Ochs & his wife Maureen of Lowell. Also survived by several nieces, nephews & cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held in John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Wednesday, September 25th at 11:00AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, September 24th from 4:00-8:00PM in the funeral home. Interment is private.
