Mary Frances Folsom Hartsfield, 79, of Tifton died Thursday, September 19, 2013, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2013, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Glenn Ford will officiate with burial to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens. David Hartsfield, Wesley Hartsfield, Bruce Hartsfield, Mike Floyd, Adam Conley, Jeremy Smith, Billy Dupree and Keith Folsom will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 22, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Hartsfield was born on April 8, 1934 in Brooks County and was the daughter of John Henry Folsom and Pearlie Monk Folsom, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur Hartsfield, Jr., who died in 2004; and two brothers. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Hartsfield is survived by three sons, Wayne Hartsfield, Bobby Hartsfield and Wade Hartsfield, all of Tifton; two daughters, Mary Ann Smith and husband, Rudy of Norman Park and Lynn Dupree and her fiancé, Michael Floyd of Hartford, Alabama; one sister, Verna Smith of Donalsonville; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Vicky Folsom Luke of Valdosta.
