Ruth Davis
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, September 19, 2013, Mrs. Ruth Mitchell Davis, 96, wife of the late Joseph Belton Davis.
Mrs. Davis was a member of the Bible Fellowship Church. She retired from Bay County School System in Panama City, FL.
Family members include sons: James C. Davis (Jo) of Austin, TX,, Eugene Harold Davis of Alvin, TX, Earl S. Davis (Debbie) of Panama City, FL; daughters: Nell Leboff (Jim) of Grovetown, GA, Shirley Davis of Panama City, FL, JoAnn Mund (Ralph) of Augusta; 20 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe Davis.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the care given by the staff of Stevens Park Health and Rehab Center and also to Gentiva Hospice.

A funeral service will be held Monday, September 23, 2013 in the chapel of Foreman’s Funeral Home in Andalusia, AL. Burial will follow in the Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Red Level, AL.
