Alfred L. Victor, 71, of New Bedford died September 17, 2013 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
He was the husband of Nancy C. (Pina) Victor.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Roy and Grace (Offley) Victor, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
Mr. Victor was a member of the International Church of the Nazarene.
He was formerly employed as a salesman in the food products industry for many years until his retirement.
Mr. Victor served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Nathan Victor of Norwalk, CT; a daughter, Rochelle Victor of Atlanta, GA; 6 sisters, Mable Hixon of Connecticut, Helen Anderson, Ella Victor, Eleanor Lopes, Barbara Victor and Victoria Victor, all of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren, Jalen Victor and Grace Balogun; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Roy Victor, Jr.
His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 20th at 10:30 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford. His family will receive guests from 9 - 10:30 AM prior to his service. Burial will follow in the Massachuestts National Cemetery.
