Andover-Annie Ellen Wood, age 84, passed away on September 17th at the Wingate Andover. She had retired from the Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine.
She was married to the late Lester W. Wood, Jr.
She had three daughters, Pearl El Khoury and husband Naja of Methuen, MA. Roxane Twombly and husband Michael from Andover, MA., Marie Velasquez and husband Jim from South Portland, Maine.
Four grandchildren, Natasha Velasquez of Alburn, Maine, Jason Twombly of Methuen, MA. and Najanne Sneed of Salem, NH, Saleem N. El Khoury of Washington, DC. She had 6 great grandchildren. She had one surviving sister, Bernice Libby of Port Charlotte, Florida.
She was at the Wingate Andover, nursing home and the family appreciates the loving care extended to Annie by so many of its staff. The family would also like to express their appreciation to Beacon Hospices wonderful care.
