Edward Venturo, 78, of Salem, NH died Sunday, September 15th at Blaire House in Tewksbury, MA.
Edward was born and educated in Haverhill, MA. He served in the US Marines during the Korean War. He had worked for Vernon Plastics in Haverhill in the shipping and receiving department. Edward was a member of the Salem Senior Center. He enjoyed playing cribbage and cards and loved history.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Blaire House for the wonderful care they gave to Edward.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Ellen (Walsh) Venturo of Salem,
His daughters, Robyn Venturo and her husband Bryan Clark of No. Waterboro, ME and
Kirsten Venturo of Methuen, MA,
His sister, Theresa Kyle of Seabrook, NH and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 18th from 4-7PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
The Memorial Service will follow at 7PM at the Funeral Home.
