Dudley
Doris M. (Mullaney) Doyle, 85, passed away peacefully, in her residence, surrounded by her family on Friday, September 13, 2013. She leaves her husband of 62 years, William J. Doyle, a son Keith J. Doyle and his wife Cindy of Webster, a daughter, Kathleen A. Woods and her husband Gary of Webster, 3 grandchildren; Travis, Ryan and Chelsea, a brother; John Mullaney of TN., 4 sisters; Eileen Greene, Jane Marcure and Sue Mullaney all of Attleboro and Rita Willis of ME.
She was predeceased by 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Doris was born in Attleboro a daughter of Thomas and Evelyn (Dusobold) Mullaney and lived in Oxford for 25 years before residing in Dudley the past 30 years. She and Bill also wintered in Florida.
Doris was past president of the Holy Rosary sodality of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford, enjoyed knitting stamp art and playing bingo and bridge. She was also known for her quick Irish wit, she deeply loved her children and grandchildren. The family would also give a Special Thank You to Central Mass. Hospice for their care and compassion for Doris and her family.
There are no calling hours.
A Funeral Mass for Doris will be Friday, September 20, 2013 at 10 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd., Dudley (Please Meet at the Church),. Burial will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Webster.
In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to: St. Anthony of Padua Church for ‘ The Faith Walk for Hunger’ ,P.O. Box 277 Dudley, MA. 01571.
