Doraellen (Helvie) Hendricks, 83, of Lantana, FL; died September 9, 2013 at Hospice of Palm Beach County after an extended illness.
She was born March 25, 1930 in Daleville, IN to Vernon Montgomery and Louie Mae (Stewart) Helvie.
She was the office manager for AG-1 Co-op for 35 years before retiring in 1999.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Ivy Rebekah Lodge and a part time receptionist for Dr. E. D. Carroll's office.
Survivors include her three daughters, Rebecca O'Brien and Viretta Hendricks of Florida; Carole Lewis; grandchildren: Sean O'Brien; Jason (Keri) Lewis; Shannon (Craig) Johnson; Abbi (Andrew) Witherspoon; Savannah (Russ) Sering; great grandchildren: Kaleigh (Caleb) Craft; Kati Johnson; Annabelle Sering; Elliott Sering; Morgan Witherspoon; Ellis Witherspoon and Addison Lewis; great great granddaughter, Jessica Craft and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Brooks Hendricks; her parents, two brothers, Cletis Van Matre and William W. Helvie.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Monsignor Sell officiating. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, September 16, from 3-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
