Obituary

Worcester – Adrien B. LeBeau, 96, of Worcester, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 10th in his home after an illness.

Mr. LeBeau was married for 67 years to Mary D. (Godek) LeBeau, who died in 2009. He is survived by his two sons, Robert LeBeau and his wife Elaine of Spencer and Lawrence LeBeau and his wife Marybeth of Falmouth; five daughters, Joan Salvidio and her husband Richard of Worcester, Judith Poltorak and her husband Leslie of Rochdale, Mary Jean Beaudry and her husband Normand of Fall River, Deborah Blais of Whitinsville and Lisa LeBeau of Worcester; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and many nephews and nieces.

Adrien was born in Worcester, son of the late Francois and Emilie (DuPont) LeBeau and is also predeceased by 3 grandchildren, Lisa, Richard and Joni Joubert as well as his brothers and sisters, Roland, Armand and Arthur LeBeau and Beatrice Lacey and Marie Hamel.

Mr. LeBeau is a graduate of the Worcester Boys Trade High School and served in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from the Norton Company where he worked for many years and previously worked for the Morgan Construction Company.

Adrien was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus – Saint Catherine of Sweden Church. He also belonged to the American Legion Tatnuck Post and was an avid outdoorsman, but especially loved hunting and fishing. Adrien had a way with tools, there wasn’t anything broken that he did not have the capability of tinkering with and bringing back to its working capacity.

Mr. LeBeau was fortunate to be able to remain in his home until he passed away due to the exceptional care and love that was given to him by his caretakers, especially Paula.

The funeral will be held on Monday, September 16th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart – St. Catherine of Sweden Church 600 Cambridge St. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 6 and 8PM on Sunday, September 15th in the funeral home.
