Roger E. Edwards Jr., 56, of Londonderry, NH, passed away quietly on Friday, September 10, 2004 in the Ridgewood Center in Bedford, NH. Mr. Edwards was born in Poland, ME on December 24, 1947, a son of Hazel (Keene) Edwards of Poland, ME and the late Roger E. Edwards Sr. He was a resident of Londonderry since 1975, formerly living in Framingham, MA. He was a graduate of Bentley College with an associates degree in accounting. Roger has been a devoted and loyal member of the US Postal Service for the past ten years, and was a member of the US Postal Union. He was known for his strong work ethic and he could always be counted on to assist his family and his community. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Katherine A. (Gianquinto) Edwards of Londonderry, two sons, Paul V. Edwards of Manchester, NH, Anthony D. Edwards of Texas, two sisters, Fayleen of Maine and Dianna of Las Vegas, NV.
At Roger's request, there will be no calling hours. Following cremation, a celebration of Roger's life will be held at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH is handling the arrangements.
