Guy J. Indelicato

...Raytheon Engineer; 65

TEWKSBURY - Guy Joseph Indelicato, 65, an active member of youth sports in Tewksbury,died Thursday afternoon, Sept. 9, at the New England Medical Center in Boston after a briefillness. He was the husband of Rosemary (LaMonica)(Mayers) Indelicato, with whom he wouldhave celebrated a 15th year wedding anniversary on Sept. 10th.

He was born in Everett, Dec. 31, 1938, a son of the late Gaetano and Lucy (Montenero)Indelicato. He was raised in Everett, graduated from Everett High School in 1956, and had lived in Tewksbury since 1966.

He was a Vietnam War era veteran, having served in the Strategic Air Command branch of theU.S. Air Force.

He graduated from Northeastern University in 1967, and worked as an electrical Engineer forRaytheon in West Andover.

While raising his family, he was active in youth sport programs in Tewksbury as a coach for thePop Warner Football League, and as a booster for the Redmen Football Club.

He was a communicant of St. William’s Church in Tewksbury, and enjoyed oil and acrylicpainting, water color painting, drawing and ‘oldies’ music.

Besides his wife, he is survived by seven children, Guy and his wife Karen (Latta) Indelicato ofTewksbury, Mark and his wife Anna (Provenzano) Indelicato of Fla., James Indelicato of Fla,Joseph Indelicato of Tewksbury, Annmarie and her husband DanielFrench of Pelham, NH, Stephanie and her husband Kevin Murphy of Marshfield, Michelle Mayersof Tewksbury; thirteen grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Indelicato of Tamworth, NH, Elizabeth "Betty" DeSimone of Everett; and his long time friend Robert DiBerto of Tewksbury.

He was also the husband of the late Janice (Colgrove) Indelicato, who died in 1983.

His Funeral Mass was held Monday, Sept. 13, in St. William’s Church. Interment was in the Veteran’ssection of Tewksbury Cemetery.
