Hudson, MA
Robert F. Dearborn, a long-time resident of Hudson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at his home in East Newport, Maine.
Robert served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in July of 1958. A long time employee of RCA and GE, he loved the world of electronics. He also enjoyed taking care of God’s furry and feathered creatures, always making sure that wherever he was he made time to fill feeders for them.
Son of the late Forest and Blanche Dearborn, Robert is preceeded in death by his wife, Marcia J. (Connolly) Dearborn and survived by his three children, Frank R. Dearborn of Morrison, CO, Mark Dearborn of York Beach, ME and Laura R. (Dearborn) Delle Chiaie of East Newport, ME. He is also survived by his brother Gerald Dearborn of Acton, MA and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Forest Dearborn.
A graveside memorial service with military honors will be held for Robert at 12:00 (noon) on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson. There will be a gathering of family and friends at the Holiday Inn, 242 Adams Place, Boxborough, MA at 2:00 p.m. following the graveside memorial.
