Obituary



LEICESTER: Bonnie E. Lindquist, 63 of Rawson St.,Leicester entered into rest on Tuesday, September 10th after a very courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Edward D. Lindquist, her 3 children and 7 cherished grandchildren. Her sons Douglas S. Short and John T. Coran of Auburn, daughter Jody L. Coran & her partner Alexander Moniak of Ohio, granddaughters Brittany L Flood, Erika M Ryan, Oshen Keli and Felicia Coran, grandsons Sebastian Moniak, Gavin Moniak and Liam Moniak. She was the daughter of the late Walter C. and Frances W.(Carmichael) Baker. She was pre-deceased by a sister Kathy A. Baker of Auburn and a daughter Jennifer M. Short.
She graduated from Marion High School in 1967 and then served her country with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Bonnie worked for the US Postal Service for 28 years and also was a union steward before retiring due to her illness. She loved gardening, animals, crocheting, fishing and the outdoors. She was a member of and Secretary to Bass Masters Greenwater Wizards of Marlboro. She was very charitable, donating to several organizations. She was very giving of her time and love. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 13 at 10a.m. in the MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 7p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either the Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 136, E.Brookfield, Ma. 01515 or the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, Ma. 01701.
