Obituary

Earl S. Nobles, 87, of Allenstown, died at his residence September 10, 2013.

He was born September 2, 1926 in Arlington, MA the son of Charles B. and Gladys (Vail) Nobles. He graduated from Arlington MA High School in 1944. He lived in Billerica, MA for 17 years then in Manchester for many years before moving to Allenstown several years ago.

Earl served in the US Navy during World War II as an air radioman and tear drop gunner.
He received the Asian Pacific, American Theater and Victory medals.

He retired from American Mutual Insurance Co. where he worked as an underwriting manager for many years. He also was a former vice president of the NH Home Builders Insurance program.

He leaves six children, Charles, William, Edward, Stanley, Sandra and Barbara; 9 grandchildren; one great grandchild; two siblings, Ruth Greenland and Donald Nobles; his longtime loving companion, Nancy Staples.



Burial with military honors was held on Friday, September 13, 2013 in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
