Obituary

Marguerite M. (Hartman) Randazza, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Beth Israel-Deaconess Hospital in Boston following an extended illness. She was 86 years old.

Marguerite was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 27, 1926, a daughter of the late William Hartman and Margaret (Breen) Hartman. She grew up in Charlestown and was educated in the Boston Public School system. Marguerite was a lifetime member of The Daughters of Isabella # 1. Marguerite worked as a homemaker for Malden Intercity for several years and volunteered her time at the Little Flower Parochial School in Somerville as a foster grandmother for several years. She enjoyed arts and crafts and found her most enjoyment in life was spending the most time she could with her husband and family.

Marguerite is the beloved and adored wife of 68 years to Reggio "Randy" Randazza. She is the devoted mother of James Randazza and his wife Mary of Lynn, Marlene Fitzpatrick and her husband Joe of Exeter, New Hampshire, Joseph Randazza and his wife Kimberly of Danvers, Penny Gentile and her husband Jerry of Malden and the late Nancy, Marion, Paula and Theresa Randazza. She is the loving Nana to 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Marguerite's Funeral on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
