Jean R. Orrico, 48, of New Bedford died Sunday September 8, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Dakar, Senegal, the son of Cacilda (Anacleto) Orrico and the late Anibal E. Orrico, he lived in Brockton and New Bedford for most of his life.
Mr. Orrico was formerly employed by Atlantic Boat Yard in Wareham and Viti Auto in Tiverton, RI.
Survivors include his mother; his siblings, Belmira Nascimento and her husband René and Emmanuel Orrico and his wife Terry, all of Wareham, Frederico Orrico and Jack Orrico, both of New Bedford, Dominique Orrico of Fairhaven, Jacqueline Orrico and Isabel Orrico, both of France, Maria Baker and her husband Jessie of Florida, Olympia McCall and her husband Napoleon, Samuel Lomba and his wife, Lillian, and Madalena Williams, all of Falmouth, and David Lomba of Los Angeles, CA; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was the brother of the late Edgar Orrico and Flora Withers.
His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM at the International Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
