Mr. Joseph V. Viselli, age 69 died in Medford on Wednesday, September 8th at the Winthrop House Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness. Born in Watertown, he was the son of the late Maria (Carnevale) & Cesare Viselli.
Joe was a Medford resident for the last 38 years, formerly of Woburn. He was an US Army veteran of the Korean War, serving from August, 1954 to August, 1956. Joe worked as a Constable for the last 18 years in Middlesex Co. and for the last 10 years he was a Justice of the Peace.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife Vera J. (Claine) Viselli. Devoted father of Joseph C. Viselli and his wife Emily of Stoneham. Devoted stepfather of the late Alfred “Rick” Lang. Loving grandfather of Nicole & Brendan. Brother of the late Cesare Viselli. Also survived by several loving nieces & nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday September 13 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
