HARKINS, Francis E. 87, of West Roxbury, MA, died Thursday, September 5th, 2013. Beloved husband of Mary (Mosher) Harkins for 55 years. Born in Boston, MA, he is survived by his sons Richard and his wife Lynne, Frank and his wife Elaine and his grandchildren Suzanne, Michelle, Laura, Billy and Brian. World War II Army Veteran multiple purple heart recipient.
His Funeral Service will be held in the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury, on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will follow in The Gardens at Gethsemane, West Roxbury.
