AUBURN___Francis O. Vilandry, 73, of 245 Washington St., formerly of Northborough, died Wednesday Sept. 8 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center, Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 44 years, Charlotte L. (LaBonte) Vilandry; two sons, Francis O. of Caribou, Maine and Raymond H. of Northborough; a daughter,Linda D. Condarcuri of Westfield; a brother, Leonard Vilandry of Fitchburg; a sister, Virginia Turnbull of Leominster; 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Wilfred and Ida (Palmiere) Vilandry and had recently moved from Northborough to Auburn.
Mr. Vilandry was a manager for Extra Space Storage, Auburn and has worked there 5 years and was still working at the time of his death. He had worked for 15 years in the industry and before then worked 20 years with multi housing units.
He was a member of the Wednesday Senior Bowling League at Auburn Lanes.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday Sept. 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fitchburg.
