Obituary

Stanley J. Oldytowski, age 68, of Peabody, formerly of Lynn, died Sept. 2 after a brief illness at the Spaulding Hospital and Rehab Center in Cambridge.
Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Peter P. and Mary A. (Wojewoczic) Oldytowski.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Navy, and was a life member of the Polish Legion American Veterans, Post 56, Lynn and the I.U.E. Local 201.
He was a technician in the Aircraft Division, General Electric Company for many years.
He is survived by two sons, Peter J. Oldytowski and his companion Bobbie of Watertown and Robert S. Oldytowski and his companion Leslie of Lynn; one brother, Paul H. Oldytowski from New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; one sister, Mary Ann Newton of Spencer. He was the brother of the late Janice Sheehan. Also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service information: At Stanley’s request, services and burial were private. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Stanley’s life on Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Porthole Pub, Lynnway, Lynn from 12 to 3 p.m. Those who wish may make donations to the American Lung Association of MA, Essex County Branch, 100 Cummings Center, Suite 323A, Beverly, MA 01915-6185. Arrangements by the NADWORNY Funeral Home, 798 Western Ave., Lynn.
