WEBSTER – Sean E. Davis, 31, died Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at home after being stricken ill.
He leaves his mother, Virginia D. (Pavoni) and her husband Gary S. McKinstry of Dudley; his father, Robert E. and his wife Tracey A. Davis of Leicester; 3 brothers, Matthew R. Davis and Scott L. McKinstry both of Dudley and Matthew P. Sloan of Marlborough; 2 sisters, Jessica J. Davis of Dudley and Heather A. Heersink of Charlton; his grandmother, Violet “Cookie” Davis of Millbury; and his beloved dog Truman.
He was born in Worcester and lived most of his life in Webster. He graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 2000.
He worked as a retail associate for several years.
He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. He enjoyed playing sports and disc golf. He loved to play chess and listen to classic rock. His greatest joy came from the time he spent with his family, friends and “His Dog Truman”.
The funeral will be held Monday, September 9, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, September 8, in the funeral home. The family requests donations in his name be made to Dog Orphans Humane Society, 90 Webster St., Douglas, MA 01516 .
