Marian (Imlauf) Gober
Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother

TEWKSBURY: Marian (Imlauf) Gober, age 86, of Tewksbury, passed away surrounded by her loving family, at the D'Youville Center for Advanced Therapy in Lowell on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, after a brief illness.
Born in Corona, Queens, New York on October 22, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine Imlauf.
Marion devoted her life to her family and moved to Tewksbury in 1988.
She is survived by her son, Dr. James W. Gober, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; her daughter, Melanie G. Sitar and her husband Tewksbury Fire Dept. Captain Michael W. Sitar, Jr., with whom Marian resided, of Tewksbury; two grandsons, Michael W. Sitar, III and his wife Nicolle of Lawrence and James D. Sitar and his fiance Nichole of Lowell; one great grandson, Jack Meuse-Sitar of Lawrence; two sisters, Catherine Marchitto and her husband Michael of Villa Park, IL and Rita Doersam and her husband Peter of Westford, MA; also several nieces and nephews including, Heidi and David Miller, and their children, Emily, Benjamin, and Camryn Miller all of Groton.
Calling hours will be Monday, Sept. 9, from 5-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. A Prayer Service will follow the calling hours starting at 8 p.m.. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marian's memory may be made to the D'Youville Center for Advanced Therapy D.C.A.T. Unit, 1071 Varnum Avenue, Lowell, MA 01854.
