Dr. Lee S. Knight, 57, of Salem, NH died suddenly, Sunday, August 25th at his home.
Lee was raised in Chelmsford, MA, the son of the late Leona (McLaughlin) and Harold Knight. He graduated from Bishop Guertin High School, U Mass Lowell and Palmer College of Chiropractic in Ohio.
Lee began providing chiropractic services in 1986 opening Dr. Lee S. Knight, P.C. in Westford and then later moved to Lowell where he owned and operated Knight Chiropractic for many years. He served as a paratrooper in the US Army and was a proud member of the Mensa Society. Throughout his adult life he continued to love and play hockey as well as baseball. Lee was an avid weight lifter who won many regional competitions and he was an accomplished bicycle racer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a great love of animals. Lee loved watching sporting events and movies, and cherished being with his friends and godchild.
He is survived by numerous cousins including Donna Cooper of N. Chelmsford, extended family, Carolyn, Raymond, Bronwen and Hanna Hall, Katy, John and Gillian Murphy, and Gwyneth Lariviere, all of Methuen, MA, his goddaughter, Taylor Rose Victoria Picard of Bedford, NH, godson, Carl Robinson of Methuen, MA and longtime friends Roland and Deborah Picard of Bedford, NH, Matt Nicolopoulos, and Shawna Martin of Dracut, MA.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday Sept 5th at 11:00AM at North Chelmsford Congregational Church, 15 Princeton St., N. Chelmsford, MA.
