Phyllis E. (Wilcox) Walker, 95, formerly of Lapham Farm Rd. in Burrillville, died Sunday at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Grover Cleveland Walker. Born in Uxbridge, MA, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Ann (Hoggarth) Wilcox. Phyllis was a machine operator for the former H & H Machine Co. for many years before retiring.
She is survived by a brother, Charles E. Wilcox of Opp, AL, a niece Barbara Hoppe of North Smithfield, a nephew Brian Wilcox of Douglas, MA, and several great nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her siblings, George E. Wilcox, and Dorothy E. Larcheveque, and a niece Shirley Lacheveque-Walling.
Visiting hours will be held Friday 4-7 PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Antoine Special Care Unit, 10 Rhodes Ave. North Smithfield, RI in her memory would be appreciated.
