Obituary

PRINCETON-Deborah K. (Mase) Marnerakis, 59, of 90 Houghton Road died Saturday, September 4th in Green Bay, WI. She leaves her husband Costas S. Marnerakis, 3 daughters, Despina T. Sakaguchi of Philadelphia, Margarita D. Durham of Seattle and Katerina C. Marnerakis of Princeton, her parents, Orville and Lucille (Randall) Mase of Palm Bay, FL, a brother Randall Mase of Palm Bay, FL, a sister Keturah Mase of Lewisburg, PA and a grandson John Christopher Durham of Seattle.

She was born in Williamsport, PA and was a graduate of Geisinger Nursing School in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Marnerakis had worked as a registered nurse at Haywood Hospital in Gardner for 25 years. She was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and the Massachusetts Nursing Association. Mrs. Marnerakis enjoyed cooking and traveling, and was a member of various environmental organizations including the Sierra Club.

The funeral is Saturday, September 11th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 10:00 AM in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, September 10th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
