HOLDEN-James D. Mandel, 63, of 525 South Main Street, died Tuesday, September 7th in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves 3 daughters, Terry L. Mandel of Worcester, Teddie L. Haggerty and Toni L. Mandel both of Grafton, 3 brothers, Bruce L. Mandel of Hemet, CA, Harry E. and Loran E. Mandel both of Worcester, 3 grandchildren, Dylon DeBoise and Rebecca Haggerty both of Grafton, and Shelby Rene Christy of Westbrook, CT. A brother Neal Mandel predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester the son of Harry E. and Ines (Johnson) Mandel. Mr. Mandel was a graduate of Worcester Boy’s Trade School. He was the owner and operator of Mass Inspection Sticker Plus in Holden and had previously owned and operated service stations in the Worcester area for many years. Mr. Mandel was a member of the Wachusett Old Car Club.
The funeral is Saturday, September 11th with a service at 10:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial is in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
