Obituary

Theresa “Terry” (Tremblay) Depelteau, 87, died unexpectedly, Monday, September 2, 2013 in the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Born in Lawrence on February 18, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Ulysse N. Tremblay and Valerie (DuBreuil) Tremblay. She was a lifelong resident of Lawrence and a graduate of the former Sacred Heart High School. Terry was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church most of her life and most recently attended St. Patrick’s Church.
She was employed as a tax clerk for the Internal Revenue Service in Andover for many years. In her retirement, Terry worked as a Substitute Teacher for the South Lawrence East School. Terry found much delight in the time she spent with her family and friends and was especially fond of traveling and going out to dinner.
She is survived by her three daughters, Linda Depelteau of Lawrence, Audrey Depelteau of Johnson City, TN and Kimberly Depelteau of Canaan, NH; two grandchildren, Samantha and Lincoln and a sister, Bernadette Tremblay of Lawrence.
A funeral Mass for Terry was celebrated on Friday, September 6, 2013, in St. Patrick’s Church, 118 South Broadway, South Lawrence at 11 a.m. Calling hours were held from 4:30 to 8 PM on Thursday, September 5, 2013, in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover. Many relatives and friends were in attendance.
