Obituary

BELMONT---Russell Myron Glines, 59, of 5 Spruce Drive, Belmont, passed away at Lakes Region General Hospital on August 28, 2013.
Russell was born on July 29, 1954 in Whitefield, N.H. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Richard and Priscilla Glines. He resided in Belmont, N.H. for the past 13 years. Russell grew up in Twin Mountain and graduated from White Mountain Regional High School in Whitefield, N.H. in 1972. Russell worked for Elektrisola Incorporated in Boscawen, N.H. from 1987 to his retirement in 2010.
Russell was beloved and well known and developed a solid reputation for sharing his compassion, stories and wisdom. He was an avid reader, loved children and enjoyed all the New England sports teams, especially the New England Patriots. He was a lifelong fisherman and enjoyed hunting, as well as spending time with his loving family.
Russell leaves behind his wife of 24 years, Doreen Glines, as well as his immediate family; Tabitha LaRoche, Amy Glines and her significant other Dwayne Long Jr., and Paul and Heather Bouchard. He celebrated the births of 6 grandchildren; Davianna Thomson, Alexandra Reed, Olivia Aherns, Danyelle Hines, Richard Hines and Cody Bouchard. Russell also has 8 surviving siblings; Joan Starkey and her husband, William, of Keene, Richard Glines Jr. and his wife, Sheila, of Intervale, Louise Staples and her husband, John, of Twin Mountain, Linda Leavitt and her husband, Larry, of Littleton, June Hart and her husband, Alton, of Randolph, Susan Pilotte and husband, David, of Littleton, , Murray Glines and his wife, Rona, of Lancaster, and David Glines of Raleigh, North Carolina. He will also be missed dearly by many nieces and nephews. Russell’s family would also like to extend an expression of gratitude to Chris and Andrea Bartz, of whom are close family friends and were there to assist in Russell’s care.
Memorial calling hours will be held on September 3, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.
A grave side service will be held on September 7, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Straw Cemetery in Twin Mountain. All are welcome to attend.
