Marie (Volpe) Fasoli died peacefully at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen on Friday, August 30th. She was 90.
The daughter of the late Salvatore and Laura (Martello) Volpe, Marie lived her earlier years in East Boston and settled in Medford over 55 years ago. She worked for Aetna Insurance and the First National Bank of Boston. In her retirement she was a member of the Italian American Senior Citizens Club and the Forever Young Club at the Medford Senior Center. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family and friends.
Her beloved husband Domenic passed away in 2008. She leaves her son Domenic and his wife Peggy of California and her daughter Carolyn of Methuen. Marie leaves her loving grandchildren, Kris, Joseph and Paul as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives may visit Thursday, September 5th from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A service will follow, in the funeral home at 1 PM and conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
