Jose Manuel Moreno, 58, of Tifton died Saturday, August 31, 2013, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2013, in Tift Memorial Gardens. Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate with burial to follow. Ciro, Chico, Richard Falcon, Ernesto, Santos Falcon and Juan will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 5, 2013, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Moreno was born on April 11, 1955 in Cuidad Obregen Sonora, Mexico and was the son of Manuel Moreno Oropeza and Delfina Paez Lerma. He was a finisher for Sumner Construction Company.
Mr. Moreno is survived by his companion, Linda Kaye Griffin of Tifton; one son, Jose Cruz Moreno, Jr. of Tifton; three sisters, Juana Moreno Lerma, Dora Moreno Lerma and Susan Moreno Lerma; and one granddaughter, Ella Nora Moreno.
