AYER: Paul V. “Tiny” Kutasz, 55, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 22, 2013 following an extended period of failing health.
He was born in Brighton on July 23, 1958 the son of Charlotte G. (Lopas) Kutasz of Wayland and the late Victor John Kutasz who died in May of 1998.
Besides his mother, Paul is survived by his brother John P. Kutasz and his wife Barbara L. Kutasz of Portland, OR; his sisters, Patricia A. Kutasz of Wayland and Charlotte T. Kutasz and Wayne Lemmler both of Medway. He was the loving uncle of Theresa A. Kutasz of Portland, OR, Victoria M. Kutasz of Seattle, WA and Stephen M. Kutasz of Acton. Brother-in-law of Donna M. (Krystyniak) Kutasz of Acton. He was the brother of the late Charles J. Kutasz who died in November of 1998. He was the longtime companion of Janet L. Marriner who died in October of 2002.
Paul spent his formative years in Wayland and was a graduate of Wayland High School with the class of 1976. For many years, Paul was a self-employed tradesman specializing in carpentry and electrical services which he took great pride in providing. He loved to spend time with his family especially his nephew Stephen. He also enjoyed fishing and watching old TV movies of the 1980’s. Paul had an extremely large personality, was very outgoing and loved being around people from all walks of life. If you were a friend of Paul you were a friend for life. His family would like to extend a personal and warm thank you to the staff, nurses and residents at Apple Valley Center in Ayer who provided excellent care for him during his last few months of life.
Memorial Visitations will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
Private family interment will be held at a later date at their convenience.
In lieu of flowers, his family suggests that memorial gifts in Paul’s memory may be sent to the Minute Man ARC Humans Services, 1269 Main Street, Concord, MA 01742.
