Ernest A. Tetreault, Sr.,74, of Fifth Ave., passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at home with his family at his side. He leaves his wife of 50 years, Patricia M. (Corey) Tetreault, 5 children; Ernest A. Tetreault, Jr. and his life partner Eric D. Webster of Bennington, Vermont, Susan M. Burbury and her husband John E. of Douglas, Theresa Arsenault and her husband Christopher F. of Douglas, Debra M. Rivera of Southbridge, and Carolyn L. Hodge and her husband Jasen of Orange, a sister, Theresa Cronin of Framingham, 13 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Ernest was born in Worcester March 15, 1939 son of Levi and Beatrice (Gosselin) Tetreault and lived in Webster for many years. He and his wife Pat were married June 29, 1963. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran and also served in the Air Force Reserve until 1985.
Ernest worked for many years in electronics for Walter Communications and then worked at Commerce Mapfre Insurance Co. when he retired. He was a member of American Legion Post 184, loved to travel to Canada and enjoyed going to Point Judith. Ernest also enjoyed fishing and doing crossword puzzles and was an expert with flight simulators.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 10 AM in the ROBERT J.MILLER FUNERAL HOME & LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St., Webster, burial with Military Honors provided by the Webster-Dudley Veterans Council will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
CALLING HOURS will be Friday, August 30, 2013 from 6PM to 8 PM at the funeral home.
