Rooney Delim age 67 of Salem, NH, died Monday at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Boston, MA, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in San Fabian, Philippines, where he grew up and was educated. He was a resident of Salem for the past 16 years.
Mr. Delim worked for Insight Technologies in Manchester, NH. He was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem. He enjoyed cooking dinner for his family and singing his favorite tunes. He loved animals, sports and was an avid Boston Celtics and Red Sox fan.
He is survived by his wife: Rebecca (Cayabyab) Delim of Salem
Son: Roy and his wife Melissa Delim of Salem
Daughter: Ruella Delim and her fiancé Mike Farrell of Derry, NH
Siblings, Guilen, Flor, Gloria, & Linda all of the Philippines
Granddaughter: Ryeanne Delim
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Aug. 30th at 10:30 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Salem. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
Calling hours will be Thursday, Aug. 29th from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
