Frances O’Donnell, a longtime resident of Andover, died peacefully at Prescott House Nursing Home in North Andover on Saturday, August 24, 2013. She was 95 years old.
Born in Laconia, NH on March 29, 1918, she was the wife of the late Lewis F. O’Donnell. Frances worked as a return verification analyst for the Internal Revenue Service in Andover for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed dancing, reading, canning and gardening. She will be deeply missed.
Frances is survived by her children; son, John O’Donnell and his wife Diane O’Donnell of Ann Arbor, MI and daughter, Ellen O’Donnell and her husband Dan Guimond of Denver, CO, grandson, Austin Guimond, also of Denver,CO, two nieces and three cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers and five sisters.
A funeral Mass for Frances was celebrated at St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Thursday, September 5, 2013, at 10:30 AM. Visitation was held at the church, prior to the mass, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Interment was held in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover.
