Frances J. (Mierzjewska) Howard, almost 90 years, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 25th at her daughter’s home. A resident of Ft. Lauderdale, she spent over 30 years at her home in Playa del Sol. She loved playing bingo, watching movies and going to the pool with her many friends. Her husband Frank passed away in 2001 after 57 years of marriage.
She is survived by her 3 children: Carol J. Shrayer and her husband Alan of Douglas, Frank Howard and his wife Deborah of Weston and Maureen Stetson and her husband Edward of North Kingstown, RI. She leaves 6 beloved grandchildren: Eric, Glen, Lindsay, Matt, Brett and Chris and one precious great-granddaughter Alexandra. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, Friday, August 30th from 9 until 10:15 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford at 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
