In Taunton, August 23, 2013 Stephen J. Thrasher, age 44 passed away suddenly in Morton Hospital in Taunton. Stephen was born in Taunton, the son of his loving mother Elizabeth “Beryl” Thrasher and his late father Robert A. Thrasher. Stephen has resided all his life in East Taunton except for his time in the military. He attended Taunton schools and received his associate’s degree from Bristol Community College. Stephen served his country in the U.S. Army. He was the former commander and chaplain for the Berkley American Legion, Post#121. He enjoyed the Patriots, video games, traveling to Scotland and his family and friends. Stephen leaves his bother Bob Thrasher and his wife Terry of East Taunton. He also leaves several Aunts and Uncles both here in the U.S. and in Scotland and many friends. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Friday, August 30th at 8:30 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Church in East Taunton at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday from 5-7 pm.
