THERESA F. (FRANCESCON) FORCUCCI

Of Canton, died Saturday morning, August 24, 2013. She was 76.

The daughter of the late Victor and Emma (Corrado) Francescon, she was born in Boston and raised and educated in the Roxbury section of the City.

A Canton resident since 1964, she was devout communicant of Saint Gerard Majella Parish and had led their prayer groups. She had a “Green Thumb” and enjoyed gardening. She was an incredible cook and shared her tallents by making meals for St. Gerard’s Rectory. She also enjoyed crocheting and each family member has a special piece she made just for them. A wonderful mother her family was the center of her life and she was the caretaker of both her mother and mother in law in their times of need which she did by opening her own house to them.

Mrs. Forcucci had been the bookkeeper for her son’s business Y. D. Auto Body for over 20 years. As a young woman she had also worked as a bookkeeper for John Hancock in Boston.

Mrs. Forcucci was predeceased by her husband, Carmen in 2005 and was the mother of the late Carmen Forcucci, Jr. and C. Anthony Forcucci and was the sister of the late Victor Francescon, Jr. and Alfred Francescon.

She is survived by her sons, Mark Forcucci and his wife, Debbie of Easton and Robert Forcucci and his wife, Lori of Stoughton and her brother, Umberto Forcucci of Canton. She is also survived by her 5 granddaughters, her great grandson and her 9 nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services in Celebration of Theresa’s Life from the Roache Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, Canton, on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Gerard Majella Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Canton. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
