Silvio Federico, 80 of Medford, died Saturday after a long illness.
Born in Italy he lived in Medford since 1990 and formerly of the North End of Boston. He was the son of the late Elvira and Giuseppe Federico. Silvio worked as a Laborer for Local #22 in the Boston area for 21 years and retired in 1991. He also was a member of the Associazione Gizio.
Beloved husband of Onelia (DeSantis) Federico. Devoted father of Elvira Federico of Medford, and Rita Correale of Malden. Loving grandfather of Michela, Olivia and Rocco Correale. Brother of Antonina Pettinella of Italy and the late Francesca, Domenico and Teodoro Federico.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8.
Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
