Manuel S. Rebello Jr., age 79 of Somerset, passed away Aug. 23, 2013 at home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Noreen T. (Borges) Rebello and the son of the late Manuel S. & Sadie (Perry) Rebello. Prior to retiring in 1996, Manny was a Service Technician for the Simplex Times Recorder Co. of E. Providence. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War Era and a parishioner of St. John of God Church. Manny liked to make his own electronics, including a television that he built from scratch.
In addition to his wife of Somerset, he is survived by his children: Steven Rebello, wife Mary Lee of Portsmouth, RI, Donna M. Rebello of Milford, MA, Kenneth M. Rebello of Somerset, and David A. Rebello, wife Shannon of Fall River; a granddaughter: Kaden L. Rebello; sister: Catherine Pauquette of Westport; several nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on WEDNESDSAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset.
