Obituary

Rose (Eartbawey) Tanian, 85 a resident of the Medway Country Manor Nursing
Home for the past 10 years, formerly of Framingham, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, August 23. She was the wife of the late John Tanian who passed away on January 2003.
Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, April 20, 1928, the daughter of the late Frank and Deara (Humsey) Eartbawey, Mrs. Tanian had lived in Framingham for most of her life.
Rose was a seamstress for many years, taught ceramics later in her life and was a fabulous cook. She was mainly a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who will be forever missed by her family.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Tainan-Powers and her husband John Powers of Franklin.
She is also survived by her grandsons Craig, Connor and Kyle Powers of Franklin.
She is also survived by her sister Adele Centauro of Roslindale and was the sister of the late Edward Eartbawey, Joseph Eartbawey and Dolores Kalil.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday August 28 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in Edgell Grove Cemetery Framingham.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5-8.
